About Us
Located in Board of Education District 7 and KCS Region 4, Halls High is a cornerstone of the Halls Community. Founded in 1916 and proudly “Dedicated to Excellence,” Halls High School serves more than 1,275 students in North Knox County. The school is committed to providing an outstanding education that balances rigorous academics, career readiness, and personal growth.
Students have access to a wide range of resources, including Honors and Advanced Placement courses, a robust Career and Technical Education program, and the innovative 865 Academies. These pathways—Freshman Academy, Life Sciences, Entrepreneurship & Skilled Services, and Engineering, Manufacturing & Transportation—offer hands-on experiences in future-focused fields.
